Yesterday, I created Big Creek Lake, west of Mobile, AL. The lake is visible at zooms greater than 500m, but not at lesser zooms. Is this a problem with my cache of OSM tiles? Search "Big Creek Lake" in Mobile, AL and zoom out to see if the problem is mine only. I cleared the cache in another program using OSM and have the same issue.

No, it's not a problem with your cache. Different zoom levels rerender at different times. Be patient - it'll sort itself out before long!
