Some large areas (several kmxkm size) are uploaded/tagged as buildings. Some layers show these areas as buildings like here: http://osm.org/go/tzdfL~Rr--?layers=N and some as water like here: http://osm.org/go/tzdfL~Q?layers=CN . Obviously, none of these are correct. |

Since these are obviously not buildings, I would remove the building tag. As to what these are, the area to the east (Tambak Garam) seems to be salt ponds, which would be tagged landuse=salt_pond The areas to the west (such as way 244163704) are tagged farmland:type_idn=sawah, and sawah is rice paddy. Tagging for these seems to be landuse=farmland, crop=rice. As Hendrikklaas said, it would be good to contact the mapper too (or make a comment on the changeset) as locals might have more accurate or detailed information than we could gather remotely. |

This looks like a tagging error, better remove the building=yes tags if the mapper does not respond. |

Hi sanser, please send an Email with your remarks to the mapper who made the contributions, for starters before you start editing. Some buildings seem quit good but without sufficient tags. For 3 years now, the mapper has not be seen or edit since then. You might wake him/here up :-) |
