City name correction instructions

I have noticed an error and would like to correct the city name associated with an address. Could someone tell me how is it done as I do not see a text box for city input.

Can you give us a link to the area in question and tell us exactly what is wrong?

Editing addresses with the browser based editor iD (if you are using Internet Exporer you will get the P2 program) is quite simple and the standard template has a field for the city, so it is quite likely that you are looking in the wrong place.

Have you created an account on openstreetmap.org?
and have you tried to edit the area in question (click on the "Edit" tab)?
