How should I find house numbers?

Recently I've been trying to add How should I find house numbers to buildings in the London Borough of Camden. I surveyed for a while but remembered a map on a planning sheet that had house numbers. I'm not sure if the map is readily available (it's probably OS MasterMap), but I wanted to know what the best map is for street numbers, and, if none, what would be the best way to survey them.
