How precise is the embedded GPS of a compact camera?
I was checking [consumer tests of cameras](http://www.altroconsumo.it/hi-tech/macchine-fotografiche) and I see that [a compact camera](http://www.nikon.it/it_IT/product/digital-cameras/coolpix/super-zoom-share/coolpix-s9700) ("superzoom" type) offers embedded GPS.
GPS may be useful for surveying and for [WikiLovesMonuments](http://www.wikilovesmonuments.org) photos, but the camera costs some 50 € more than equivalent ones. Are the coordinates found by such embedded systems precise enough to be used directly?
I sow the [POV camera question](https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/38126/looking-for-a-pov-camera-with-gps) but I'm not interested in video etc.
