Maybe the reason for this is in this changeset: https://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/changeset/10204487 But experts are needed to examine the coastline in detail and maybe revert the malicious changeset or repair tha way. answered 27 Dec '11, 18:27  stephan75 someone fixed that issue, but it can take some more time when the repair will be rendered due to the special coastline handling. For the record: Rendering mistakes should be reported in the OpenStreetMap bug tracker at http://trac.openstreetmap.org/ . This forum is for help with questions, and cannot do anything about bugs (though someone may forward the bug anyway).
FWIW this wasn't actually a rendering error but a coastline editing "faux pas".
