It would seem one of the Orkney islands has gone missing from Mapnik. It works in Osmarender...

Maybe not the right place to point this out, but anyway.

For the record: Rendering mistakes should be reported in the OpenStreetMap bug tracker at http://trac.openstreetmap.org/ . This forum is for help with questions, and cannot do anything about bugs (though someone may forward the bug anyway).

FWIW this wasn't actually a rendering error but a coastline editing "faux pas".

Maybe the reason for this is in this changeset:

http://www.openstreetmap.org/browse/changeset/10204487

But experts are needed to examine the coastline in detail and maybe revert the malicious changeset or repair tha way.

someone fixed that issue, but it can take some more time when the repair will be rendered due to the special coastline handling.
