At the OSM christmas party, someone had the idea to vote on "Image of the year"; what was the best image of the week since last new year.

Since this is the first such vote, we've got 5 years of images to choose from. So the topic of this poll is: what's the defining OSM image of the half-decade?

How this will work:

(a) choose an image you like from the category or lists

(b) If that image is already an answer on this page, upvote it

(c) If not, add a copy of the image/caption as an answer

Repeat if you have more than one choice

p.s. if an image you like isn't yet featured, then add it to this page instead
