Can't see an object in edit mode?

A local hospital to me has been misnamed. When I go into edit mode to rename it, I can no longer see it to edit. Other local points of interest appear. Am I doing something wrong?

Are you looking for a node? Perhaps the name is attached to a way (e.g. maybe a closed way for the building)?

Failing that: give us a link and tell us what editor you are using.

Thank you, that solved my problem. I hadn't realised the name was attached to the way and was expecting to see the icon for the hospital in the same way it appeared in the live view.
