When building maps with OSM I have noticed that all have the same name. When installing in MapSource the maps are installed as 'OSM World Routable'. No problem so far but what when I woud like the maps of lets say Northern Holland AND the south of France. Do I need to combine the areas or can I have two different maps to upload to my GPS device, Garmin GPSMap62s, and switch them on/of as needed?

In order to get a relevant answer you'll probably need to describe how you're creating these Garmin maps (downloading? mkgmap, and if so what command line?).

The maps are created with http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl. Here the areas are selected and maps are created with the option 'Build my map' on the same page. When the maps arrive they come as executable and when running the file will install the requested areamap in MapSource. Here the map can be selcted as 'OSM World Routable' and from then you can select the map or parts of the map to upload to the GPS device.
