I've been adding the footpaths around my area over the last week or so. One particular footpath only shows in the 2 closest zoom levels. The other footpaths, which I added both before and after the trouble path, show in all zoom levels. I'm a newbie to OSM so I was wondering if it's anything I've done or something I can fix?

Firstly, welcome to OpenStreetMap.

I suspect that the problem will be you have older tiles cached locally. I have looked through all your changesets (a bit quickly, admittedly) and all looks OK. You can try refreshing your browser cache (often Shift-F5). To be certain, perhaps you could browse to the relevant footpath, click permalink, and send us the link so we can see if it looks OK from here.

Hello again. It was the cache having old data. I use chrome and have just discovered that shift-f5 and shift-reload don't clear the cache or force a reload. Sorted now though. Thanks.

It might be that they did not get rendered yet on the higher zoom levels. Try clearing your browser's cache or display an individual tile. See http://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/102/i-have-made-edits-but-they-dont-show-up-on-the-map

It is not a bad idea to post a link to the location where your footpathes are.

Regarding the questionpart "something I can fix": if clearing your local browser cache does not help, then just waiting it fine. You did everything right. It is normal that lower zoom levels take time to update and they will do it automagically when time comes.
