Mapping Pylons

0

Hello,

I found my town on OpenStreetMap, but some of the pylons are missing. Which utility poles are important enough to go on the map. and do you want a photo to verify it?

I find the large steel framed pylons, usually ~40 meters tall, that carry the cables of the National Grid (UK) a useful addition to the map. Their shadows and cables can be seen on Bing ( and others). The wooden poles usually <25 meters that distribute electricity or telephone in urban areas I would not map. I don't think the smaller ones get rendered on the standard map but the big grid ones do see:- https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=16/52.2152/-0.3007

@andy_mackey Thanks. These towers are wooden and I won't add them to the map.
