In the umap interface I've set the map background to OSM Sunny (jawgmaps) but when I embed the same map on my website I'm getting the ugly standard map background 'OSM-fr'. How can I change the embed code that the map is starting straight away with the OSM Sunny view? asked 01 Mar '23, 22:52 marsronny |
Did you saved your umap settings after changing the background layer to sunny and before getting the embed code? I've just tested this and got an umap embed that shows the sunny map, see here: https://jsfiddle.net/wm1zu7je/ By the way: the osm-fr layer is not ugly ;) And also plase consider just signing up at jawg.io for an api key to embed their sunny osm map via e.g. leaflet or maplibre directly. answered 02 Mar '23, 09:30 Spiekerooger Thank you so much for your answer! I did save the settings after changing the background map to sunny. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. Could you please check my embed code? <iframe width="100%" height="600px" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" src="//umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/campus-living-wuppertal_877642?scaleControl=false&miniMap=false&scrollWheelZoom=false&zoomControl=true&allowEdit=false&moreControl=true&searchControl=null&tilelayersControl=null&embedControl=null&datalayersControl=null&onLoadPanel=none&captionBar=false&locateControl=null&measureControl=null&editinosmControl=null&datalayers=2659968#14/51.2514/7.1528"></iframe> I've tried to change the sourcelink from "umap.openstreetmap.fr/en/map/campus-living-wuppertal_877642?" to "...877846?" then the maps starts directly in the sunny view but my saved points/location pins are not shown. Looking forward to your help!

I changed the background map on the left side and didn't see that I have to change it on the right side. Thank you so much!
