Several cities in the UK have introduced clean air zones where certain vehicles are only allowed if they pay a fee. It is both in the interest of those cities as well as the drivers affected to avoid these zones. We can expect more and more of them to pop up.

Can they be added as an overlay? Is it possible to include them in route calculations as "avoid"? If this is implemented in OSM, will it also show up in OSMAND+ for Android (i.e. using your smartphone as a satnav)?

Have you reacted to https://github.com/osmandapp/OsmAnd/issues/16218 ? Different LEZ in London has been added as type=low_emission_zone. https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:boundary:low_emission_zone#United_Kingdom
