Display location panel by default

0

Is it possible to display the Location Panel by default in the editor?

Also, in the editor if I click on Map Data there are options to display the History Panel and Measurement Panel. Why isn't there an option to display the Location Panel?

FWIW, the only way I'm aware of to display the Location Panel in the editor is to press:

CTRL+SHIFT+L

Thanks!

Using desktop PC it is only click backgrounds and click location. Using Id editor. If it was default half the screen is then covered. I think the iD designer(s) has got it right to just give the option.

This isn't a question. Feature requests and similar for the embedded editor, iD, need to go here: https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD

Thanks, Simon.

I searched there but did not find any open issues related to this request. So I decomposed and submitted it as a few tickets for the viewer and editor, respectively:
