I've edited some walk paths to be more appropriately cross country ski trails as well as added additional cross country ski trails, but they don't show even though that was a few weeks ago. I added some wilderness huts, access roads, and parking but those all show. Did I do something wrong with the ski trails?

This is unanswerable without

  • you indicating where (as in on which map, in which app..) you expect to see the trails
  • a link to your edits in question.

Crystal balls tend to be short in supply.

If you are looking at https://www.openstreetmap.org/ you will not see any ski trails. They simply cannot render everything that is mapped so they render what they think most people would like to see.

For ski trails look at other renderers like the one at Open Snow Map: http://opensnowmap.org

If I recall correctly, for portable offline use OsmAnd can display ski trails (it might need a plug-in/add-on for this).

Thanks. They do show on the Open Snow Map. I'm not sure that is the best place but will keep learning. Thanks for the help
