Tag a bridge as destroyed

0

Hi all, I would like to tag some bridges which recently have been destroyed by a natural disaster as destroyed. I read some things like tag as "destroyed:bridge=*" but I don't know where and how to change. Thanks a lot for the help and happy new year!

Hi.

You might find useful information on this page.

The gist is to change the tag name from "bridge" to "destroyed:bridge".

Please tell if you have more details on your trouble.

Regards.

You could add some map notes. An experienced mapper, will with luck add some tags. The Beginners Guide or even searching these questions could give you the information. It's possible mapping barriers or road closures could do the job. At least this should correct routing until repairs are finished. https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Beginners%27_guide

Hi H_mlet, I did that, thank you very much for the help!

However, now a warning shows up: -add a bridge -reposition the features -ignore this issue

Is this ok or do I have to add the tag "bridge=yes"?

thank you!

and here is the respective bridge (D33): LINK

Have both bridges been destroyed? Will be months or even years before they are replaced?
