Fairly new here, I am trying to add data to the Japanese map. Adding and editing data works great, but search results show addresses incorrectly:

  1. A street name is displayed. This is rarely used in JP. The official standard is a PrefectureCityWardBlocknumberBuildingnumber style. (Yes, in that order, no spaces, just one line).
  2. Users searching for a Japanese language item get result lists consisting mainly of Latin characters. Of course, Japanese characters are required here.

Example: Searching for トヨタ自動車 (=Toyota Motor), one of the results list as "Factory トヨタ自動車 元町工場, national route 419, 鴻ノ巣町四丁目, Toyota, Aichi Prefecture, 471-0833, Japan"

Correct would be "Factory トヨタ自動車(株)元町工場, 愛知県豊田市元町1, 471-8573, Japan"

Source: https://global.toyota/jp/company/profile/facilities/manufacturing-jp/motomachi.html

I have played around with address tags and browser settings, but to no avail. How can I get the results to display correctly in queries? Please advise.

I would suggest discussing best practices and expected results with the Japanese community, particularly because of the quirks of JP addressing.
