The Color of the little roads ar always white, is het possible to change the color to see this beter on a GPS.

What sort of GPS device is it you're using (I'm guessing a Garmin?) and where did you get your maps from?

You might want to check velomap. First feature is "High Contrast" ! But it's not free.

On BBike, there's three styles to choose from.

A lot more choices on the wiki.

You can also learn to make your own maps, and thus tweak the style used, but that's not trivial.
