How to fix "Non-standard element type: relation", as seen in an editor, caused by https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/14669850 . Thanks.

There is nothing wrong with type=site per se. What you should to do create a point or area enclosing it to separate leisure=marina and seamark:type=harbour from man_made=pier. But using literally empty as the role is wrong anywhere.
