Potlatch2 loads but then crashes on my osm server.

I haven't registered it yet, so is this the cause?
And can it work without being registered? Tiles are rendered from osm.org, but potlatch2 is on my server.

Potlatch2 seems to work now. I have imported a map in postgis with osm2pgsql. Do these have something in common? because as far as i understand potlatch uses my osm database, and not mapnik's gis db.
