Hi Jennajetta, Since Open Street Map (OSM) is just a databank of a wide range of geographic information, every programmer could use it to build a map or whatever the programmer likes. Since there is no connection between the surveyor and the programmer you should ask your questions to them (the programmer). Sorry for the outcome of your question.
