Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

How to upload data using upload.py and how we can track the status of it. I can see an option to upload files by using upload.py script (https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Upload.py). May I know how it works and how we can track status. I ran it like this ./upload.py -u <my mail="" id="" -p="" <my="" password=""> -c yes -n -t changes.osc

My number of edits are increasing after using upload.py and clos.py. But edit not yet reflected in osm map. May I know why its not reflected in map.

For the avoidance of doubt, automated edits (which these sound like) must follow https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Automated_Edits_code_of_conduct.
