I'm following the instructions at https://switch2osm.org/serving-tiles/manually-building-a-tile-server-20-04-lts/

and imported shapefiles without error using: scripts/get-external-data.py

ran the following: renderd -f -c /usr/local/etc/renderd.conf

Output log... Received request for map layer 'ajt' which failed to load

with a p404 page error in browser.

Please advise on troubleshooting and places to look for the issue. I have followed the steps and ran and reran them multiple times with the same error and results.

You might be missing the shapefiles, or it might be something else.

Above where it says "Received request for map layer 'ajt' which failed to load" will be more information about what the actual problem was.
