Why does the windsock not show on the map?

1

I see it in edit mode, but not in non-edit mode.

Also, would mapping the ring around the windsock help?

I just would not know what the feature type would be.

Thanks, Eric

The standard map at openstreetmap.org doesn't render windsocks. It is a general-purpose map that does not attempt to display everything in the OpenStreetMap database. Many correctly-mapped features are not shown, but they are in the database for anyone interested in that particular feature.

Perhaps there is a more specialised renderer that does display this, but I am not aware of one.
