Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

Some British post boxes are labelled priority and are supposed to be used for urgent items (if you've prepaid).

These are nicely labelled in person, but are there any tags in use to record this property in OSM?

There was a thread on the mailing list at https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-gb/2021-August/027511.html , but I'm not sure if anyone actually answered the question.

I've just been using "priority=yes" on them: https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1fyZ . That's not great, as it doesn't fit in well with other uses of "priority", but it should allow the ones tagged so far to be identified.

Thanks, I'll use that for now, the talk-GB thread seems to have fizzled out.
