User SK53 kindly pointed me to MyOSMatic, which automatically renders a map, together with its Street Name Index: https://print.get-map.org. However, when I put it to the test, there were about a dozen street names that didn't make it onto the map. Is this because the print size is A2 and so the streets are too narrow for its name to fit inside them? NOTE: I didn't check the Street Name Index if the missing street names are or aren't there.

I guess it depends of the tile layer you have used.
