Map with Referenced Street Name Index

I have a street map of an area and now want to be able to find the streets easily. I have therefore prepared a street list * that appear in this map. I assume that this street name index will somehow need to be linked to the map grid. How can I connect** and* append the street name index to the map, so that one can look up the street name index and find a reference on the map grid (e.g. A6*)?
