Hello I'm now using a bryton gps. It does use osm but the version it come with is not the best for mtb. that map probably will be fine if you use forroad or urban rides, but I know that there're better options out there for outdoors users. I'm not very good on computer science, but i wonder how difficult could it be to create map that fit on the rare format that bryton suppose to use. they call it .dat. Could it be so simple us rename the file osm.pbf to .dat?

Almost certainly not. Osm.pbf is not designed to support routing or rendering and would be a poor choice for a GPS device. You will need something more specific.

Asking bryton gps if updates or alternative versions of the map are available may help. Their response will help past and new customers evaluate the devices.

I am using bryton 450. I contacted Bryton Support by email. They read the email and didn't reply. I was treated like shit. No feedback

I have you tried this page on Brytons website it talks of updates. If you brought it from a dealer do they offer any support? https://www.brytonsport.com/#/supportResult?tag=BrytonMap
