Has anyone ever used a tag for a hugh load of rolls ? Yeah it is temporarely, but you never know how long it is gonna stay. The grass keeps dry and eatable by cattle. It crossed my mind to use landuse=depot with depot grass rolls.

Silage? There's quite a lot of that in the wiki: https://taginfo.openstreetmap.org/search?q=silage#values .

It is collected and stored in the farmyard or other a fairly permanent storage area, I would map that. I recently watched a number of bails 1.5 x 1.5 metre being collected by a trailer which automatically drew level with the tractor that was towing it, the trailer mechanism then scooped the bails and self loaded up at least six of them, the trailer moved back behind the tractor, all without the tractor stopping. very ingenious.

You’ll find those balls almost anywhere, if the meadow or grassland is able to carry the machinery. The grass is collected as dry as possible and wrapped in plastic to keep it that way. They store them as rolls onto of each other up to 3 or 4 layers on a hardened surface. just to prevent the water getting in. I recon that the Wiki needs some one’s attention.
