Change of address

All I want to do is change my organisation's address! I would so appreciate some simple steps to do this. Many thanks.

Hi Cai. You can do it yourself using the editor on www.openstreetmap.org. What exactly you have to do depends somewhat on how your organization is mapped today.

Can you point us to its current location on the map (e.g. on www.openstreetmap.org zoom to the area, click the share icon on the right hand side, tick the map marker checkbox, place the marker on the right position and copy the link from the side panel into a comment here)? Also tell us the name if there are several objects in the same place.

You will need to contact Google and Instagram to change that.
If you want to add your address to the OpenStreetMap.org you will need to sign in and do the introductory to mapping https://learnosm.org/en/
You should then be able to draw the shape of you house and add tags for housenumber, street, suburb, etc.

If you are listing your business:
Using something like https://osmybiz.osm.ch/#/9/-27.49122/152.67700 or https://www.onosm.org/# to initially help adding your business listing at the building you operate from in to the OSM with suitable tags may assist.

Hi Devilkingmuksa, sign in on the OpenStreetMap.org site and at the top right you can select your profile and then you should see a tab to edit your profile and enter a lat long near where you are located.
