Somehow, https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/40722496 got corrupted into a straight line, as far as I can tell. There may need to be some reverts that need to go on here but the data is confusing and I can't figure out what happened here looking at achavi and osmcha. Could someone shed some light on this? Perhaps figure out what changeset did this? What's weird is that I see no hint of the straight edges when I pull up achavi for the last changeset that touched it, which further baffles me... asked 24 Aug '21, 20:25 gpserror |
Probably https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/109901079 If only the node positions are changed the way itself does not get updated, just the node versions and positions. Likely an accidental straightening action. answered 24 Aug '21, 20:32 SimonPoole ♦ With a DWG hat on I tidied up a similar "accidental orthogonalise" in the UK a few days ago. If the person who accidentally moved the nodes is a bit confused and needs help fixing it, drop an email to data@openstreetmap.org and we'll be able to help.
