Hello OpenstreetMap Help When I have search a address then api is not getting data. please help for this and i am using this api (https://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/search?q=Agiou Polikarpou 1, Nea Smirni 171 24, Greece&format=json&polygon=1&addressdetails=1) |

Just stumbled on this and had some similar problems in searching Irish places. Be careful of 'transliterations', and the amount of data you use in searches. I tried one or two limited searches, and this "Agia Polukarpou, Nea Smyrni, Attica, 17124, Greece" seems to find what you want to the street level: maybe house/building numbers are not listed (yet). Note the transliterations of Agia (not Agiou) and Polukarpou (not Polikarpou). It is often easier to start with a short search (e.g. "Nea Smyrni, Greece" or "17124, Greece") especially if there are parts of the address where you will recognise the general geographic location. Oh and take care of spacings in postcodes - I dropped the space before it recognised the "17124". Hope this makes sense and is of some help Sean McA |
