Hi! Is there an accessibility layer in openstreetmap? I can`t find it, but have a big interest on and do a little thing about it on another platform. If someone interesting in this theme too, please, contact me by makarova.olga.e @ gmail.com or xupacuma in skype.

A lot of projects are listed on the Accessibility wiki page

One of the best ones is WheelMap.org, a website and iPhone app which displays OSM data and allows users to add to it. Generally it's all about classifying shops, cafes and other POIs by the their level of wheelchair accessibility using wheelchair tags

I suggest you get to this "accessibility page" where you'll find which tags to use (e. g. highway=steps or wheelchair=yes/no/limited ...) : http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Accessibility also significant info in "Disabilities" http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Disabilities
