when i try to sign into open street map with the linux gnome maps app i get a message that says 'authorization request failed you have denied gnome maps access to your account' instead of a verification code. i tried to register the gnome maps app in my settings but i have no idea what the 'main application url' is. any ideas? asked 03 Aug '21, 00:31 ormulum |
This is due to a change in the OSM OAuth verification. It has been fixed in Maps 3.38.6, 40.3 (and in the 41.0 released after this was applied): https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-maps/-/issues/386 This change has also affected JOSM: https://josm.openstreetmap.de/ticket/21065 answered 13 Oct '21, 19:14 Marcus Lundblad |
I've got this problem too.
Me too. Others report a similar issue here... https://help.openstreetmap.org/questions/81238/how-can-i-authorize-gnome-maps-to-access-osm
Same problem here... (Ubuntu 18.04 / Maps 3.28.1)
