This one, i guess was a gun emplacement tagged as a bunker. there is another to south east. I would have expected historic= bucker or battery or gun emplacement. Hendrikklaas thanks for links. England still has some WW2 "Pill Boxes" that guarded major routes. They would have sheltered people armed with small arms not heavy field guns. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pillbox_(military)
