My map shows pins which are linked to images. In the description field of the pin I type the link to the picture such as :

{{http://ronddejardin.tcjnet.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/IMG_3124-2.jpg}}

but the picture does not show up when the edition is deactivated; Is there an explanation for this problem ? Thanks

Well everything works normal today. It had to be an OSM bug ! Thanks anyway.

Glad it works for you now.
It may have been a but in the French uMap instance which is just one of many services using OSM data. It definitely was not a bug in OSM.

I assume the question is about uMap.

Just a wild guess: Have you tried the same with https? Might be a problem of mixing protocols. It seems https is not activated on tcjnet.com, though. You could try it with a picture from another site.

Thank you for your suggestion. I tried with a picture from another site but it does not work either; I thought something might have been changed in Umap and the way it references an image because I have made different maps with different images from different sites. They all used to work just fine and now, none of them seem to show the inages !

I tried to use images on the French, the Swiss and the German instance. It's working on both the latter ones but not on the French one. Are you using that one, too? I guess you have to try to get in touch with the maintainers of that site. They are not usually reading here. You may try github.
