Why not ask your question on the new OpenStreetMap Community Forum?

Hi guys,

I've created a map without logging (first time I used it) and my laptop have made an update so restart and then I can't edit my map... I don't have the possibility to "share" so to create a new map with datas... How can I do to solve this issue or to contact someone who can send me the editor link ?

Thanks all !

You can still try to find the editing link in your browser history.

If that is not possible you need to contact the maintainers of the site you have used. There are different ones (e.g. .fr, .de, ...) and you did not mention which. If you cannot find contact details on your site you can try the channels listed in the wiki. It appears they are usually not monitoring this help site.

Thanks for answer TZom,

About the editing link in my browser, how should I recognize it ? Because all old links I try to open send me to the map, but still without the possibility to edit it...

About the site I used, I used umap, probably .fr because I'm in France, but where can I find precisely the one I've used and then the good way to contact the good maintener ?

Thanks again

Paste the URL of the site you were using.

The editing link should look like this: http://umap.openstreetmap.fr/de/map/anonymous-edit/12345:abcdefghijklmnop
