Hello, I am in the process of updating the bus routes in my region. There are official, up-to-date bus schedules available online at https://www.dbregiobus-bayern.de/regiobusbayern/view/fahrplan/kursbuchtmpl.shtml which would be very helpful. May I use this external (copyrighted) source to supplement my local knowledge and if so, should I provide a link to the plans as a source?

Hi Smnon.

It is not permissible to take information from bus schedules without permission of the bus operators or transport associations (Verkehrsverbünde). However, several German operators have given their permission. Check if you find your operator or association already in OSM wiki and if it states an appropriate waiver there.

Also check out PTNA to help you mapping.
