Hello, I'm new to using OSM. For a week now I have been looking for a solution to my problem that will surely be trivial for you. I need to run a query that extracts an xml or similar for all elements of a city (nodes, roads, etc.). All the queries I found refer to particular elements and it is not possible to list them all. Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me.

If by "all elements of a city" you want all of the data for an area, then there are extract services that will provide this.

If by that you mean you want something that will extract all examples of a particular feature with in a specific area then your best bet is something like Overpass Turbo.
