I have been going round my local area trying to solve as many issues as I can, and I have run into an issue that I am unable to resolve. There is a hole on a golf course nearby with the name 'magazine', and the only way that I can see to avoid the 'suspicious name' error is to remove the name. How do I resolve the issue without removing the name? asked 12 Apr '21, 18:06 235711131719 |
Did you asked it at the original mapper, why the name is occuring on the golf resort ? If the mapper tells you it is correct, you could tell that it is marked suspicious, just one hole with a name and not a number. If the name is correct, just leave it that way. answered 12 Apr '21, 20:55 Hendrikklaas |
Ignore it. Many QA tools in OSM have a high number of false positives: particularly in places which are mapped in detail, as the tools may not be optimised for such places. answered 12 Apr '21, 20:59 SK53 ♦ |
What is it that says that the name is suspicious?
