In Potlatch I can see satellite images as background. Is there any way I can see satellite images as background in JOSM?

If you click on "imagery" (menu) and "bing" it works for me, although sometimes for some reason the image was of the south Atlantic instead of the UK, I just tested it and it worked fine.

Thanks, I had to activate it in the settings first.

Hi, What do you mean exactly by "click on imagery and bing"? I do not have such options. Thanks a lot

Just download map data for the area you want the imagery then in the upper tab bar of JOSM you have to have the Imagery tab. Click on it and Bing Sat should be the first one. Click on it and a new layer should open with the satellite imagery.

Then you're not using JOSM. Please start a new question for this rather than adding more answers to a question you're not answering.
