Probably a newbie question. ;) Is there a way to find the coordinates for a given location in Open Street Map? (Background: I'm a regular contributor to Wikimedia Commons, and I try to give the coordinates for my photos. I used a dedicated tool for it, but this now ony shows Google Maps in satellite mode. But OSM shows hikings trails, and as I like to add pictures taken on hiking routes... See my user page on Commons, user name MartinD.) Help would be much appreciated! Regards, Martin van D

There are two methods: in the search bar on left there's a link saying "Where is it?". If you click on it the website displays the coordinates in the search bar. Alternatively, you can right click on any point in the map and select "Show address" and the coordinates will display on the left bar.
