Name Suggestion Index accepts entries for any chain of stores, and also tracks brands that may no longer actively exist (these brands are not added to the data used by OSM editors). So while it is likely that an entry in Name Suggestion Index would appear at least once in OSM, it may not be the case. I believe it is changing to more frequent updates soon, but right now the NSI data iD uses is only updated when iD itself is updated. It happens fairly regularly.
