I prefer to use Maps.me. But my associates use Apple Maps. Is there any way to share a location from Maps.me to an iPhone user and have it open in Apple Maps. I have tried this but the link sent is http://ge0.me/... This seems to be unrecognizable on the iPhone.

Any help.

surely there is someone who knows how to share a location from OSM to iOS.
please help me before I am forced to just use Apple Maps forever

To be fair, your question didn't ask that - it asked about "Maps.me", which is a third-party application whose only connection to OSM is that (like some Apple products, actually) they use OSM data.

To share a location from OpenStreetMap:

  1. In a web browser go to openstreetmap.org
  2. Move around the map until the location that you want to share is displayed
  3. Copy the contents of the URL bar
  4. Create a new email
  5. Paste into that email
  6. Send email

For comparison, a "share" of a location from within Apple Maps is actually very similar, except containing information that is presumably designed to track who is doing the sharing:
