Provinces in Dominican Republic to show on Maperitive

I can see the provinces are there in OSM, but for the life of me I cannot get them to DRAW in maperitive.

anyone with rule and OSM knowledge who can point me in the right direction, I thought that they were just missing from OSM, but I DO SEE THEM THERE lol!

I can see in OSM that the provinces line reference a NODE Thank you for reading this post, if you could just point me in the right direction or to someone who has knowledge of what's going on... I'd be forever grateful.
