Over a week ago I added a milestone with the tag historic=milestone. (This was erected around 1800, not a mile marker in current use.) The node is visible if I enable the Map Data overlay, and in my list of edits, but does not appear on any of the standard map layers, even at maximum zoom. Is there something I need to change to get it to render?

If you tell us where in the world it is, we might be able to point at a map that shows it.

It is at 41.3454171,-72.9051054, node 8281218562.

No. Should be that None of the default layers render historic=milestone.
