A large number of points in uMap

Hi,

I'm trying to make a natural spring map of europe for our homepage. I have all relevant points collescted in a geojson file. It is about 4MB. When loading it into uMap, it always crashes. The file contains about 6000 points. Is there anyway to simplify the map? For example reducing the amount of shown points depending on the map zoom level?

Any help would be appreciated. Phil
