How to get before and after map of a particular area? Can you suggest any tool used to find it? |

beforeafter.baato.io has recently come up as service where you can request a rendering of a map from past data. It let’s you select a year between 2015 and 2020 for the “Before” version. |

If you are looking for a rendered map before and after a change you are probably out of luck. At least I'm not aware of any such services. You would either have to render historic map states yourself or save a copy of a map before you make a change. There was a map comparing 2007 with the current state but it appears not to to be working any more: OSM Then and Now |

"Achavi" can be used to show the changes in a particular changeset. Here's one of mine: https://overpass-api.de/achavi/?changeset=92370997 that shows how I (among other things) changed the alignment of some service roads from Esri to better-aligned imagery based on a variety of sources. |
