Is it possible to replace all the bus stops in the Greater Manchester area with the NaPTAN data for Greater Manchester? The transport network has changed so much here, the NaPTAN data for Greater Manchester has greatly improved (I know the guy who manages it) and OSM busstop data is so much out of date now! If any more edits are needed to NaPTAN I can let him know.

NaPTAN imports have been done before. Where there is existing data in OSM, it needs to be carefully merged to avoid duplicates etc. Simon's suggestion is probably the quickest way to entice those who have done previous updates out of the woodwork.

You should discuss this on the UK mailing list, the help site is really not suitable for such discussions.
